Ask most people when they plan to retire, and you’ll probably hear something like “at 65” or “once I hit a certain financial number.”
But if you ask me?
Retirement sounds like going to sleep.
And since I have no plans of dozing off until God calls me to my next adventure—“retirement” doesn’t even exist in my life vocabulary.
So What Does Retirement Mean to Me?
For me, it’s simple:
Freedom.
The freedom to do what I want, when I want, how I want—with no financial stress holding me back.
That could happen at 45. Or 75.
It has nothing to do with an age—and everything to do with financial alignment.
So instead of aiming for “retirement,” I focus on something better:
Creating systems that allow my money to work for me—so I can go play.
Let’s Redefine This Whole Concept
If you're financially free, and your lifestyle is fully funded by your assets and strategies, guess what?
You’re not retired.
You’re activated.
You’re doing life on your terms.
That’s why I say this:
Retirement isn’t a final destination.
It’s a financial stage you can hit at any age—as soon as your mindset, money, and systems align.
It’s Not Hard. But It Is a Mindset Shift.
If you want to reach this level of freedom, here’s what it takes:
✅ Discipline
✅ The right financial strategies
✅ Protecting your money
✅ And working your plan until it becomes your lifestyle
And here’s a little truth that might sting:
Have you ever noticed you rarely see wealthy people at your neighborhood bank?
That’s because they don’t stash their money there.
They place it in private, secure financial systems—like high cash value life insurance—where it grows, earns interest, pays dividends, and stays protected.
They don’t touch the principal.
They leverage the earnings.
They build wealth behind the scenes… and then they go play.
So What Does “Retirement” Really Mean?
To me, it’s not about slowing down.
It’s about waking up.
Waking up to the truth that:
-
You don’t need to work 40 years to earn your freedom.
-
You don’t need to wait for permission.
-
You can design a life of joy, peace, and abundance—right now.
Final Thought:
You don’t have to “retire.” You just need to become financially free—and then go play.
That’s what I’m doing.
That’s what I teach.
And that’s the kind of life I want for everyone willing to shift the way they think about money, freedom, and time.
So… is retirement an age or a number?
Not for me.
It’s a choice.
And the moment you decide, it’s yours too.
